I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be appearing in an original outdoor drama about Louisiana history, specifically about the French edict called Le Code Noir & the unique racial relationships it created in our region.

I’ll be in the role of Amanda Miller Dupree, & the show runs for three performances: Friday, October 13, Saturday, October 14, & Sunday, October 15. It will be staged at 4pm on those dates in Congo Square (in front of the Municipal Auditorium next to Armstrong Park). Admission is free (!) … we recommend bringing chairs. We’re expecting food & crafts vendors to be selling their wares.

It’s been uplifting to be part of a show as an actor again, without having to also work as a producer &/or director. I’m grateful for the opportunity, & as we’re almost two months into the rehearsal process, I really believe this is going to be an excellent show that you won’t want to miss.

Hoping to see you there!
